PORT CAROLINE’S CARGO
DAMAGED BUTTER SOLD. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright ) LONDON, November 27. Fifteen thousand dry boxes of the Port Caroline’s damaged butter were sold. The underwriters ruled out an offer for a bulk purchase of the remaining wet portion, which was sold with the understand ing that it would be used up in blending, so that its New Zealand origin would not be revealed.—A. and N.Z.
