FEATHER-WEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. Already tickets for the Johnny LeckieTommy Griffiths professional boxing contest next Saturday night are selling rapidly, and there should be a record ) crowd at the Drill Hall to witness the i encounter of two of the, finest featherweights New Zealand has ever produced. Both boys are in wonderful fettle, and in training work-outs during the past week have shown to rare advantage. It is difficult to pick the winner, but whoever gets the verdict will have to ' fight for all he is worth, and patrons should be assured of a stirring contest, which bids fair to be an epic in the local history of the boxing game. Already Leckie is being acclaimed as a wonderbov, and his showing against such a clever and elusive boxer as Griffiths should give some line'as to what may be expected of him in the future.
