SMALL ROCK ON LINE.

ENGINE AND CARRIAGE DERAILED. (Pkb United Press Association.) WELINGTON, November 28. The engine and the first carriage of the 4.16 p.m- train from Wellington to Master ton were derailed midway between Kai toke and the Summit on the Wellington side of the incline at about 6.15 p.m. to day by a small piece of rock. No one wa's hurt. The rear portion of the train was taken back to Kaitoke, where the 25 passengers were transferred to the Rail ways Department’s bus from Lower Hutt and taken to Fcatherston, where they joined a special train to Masterton. No damage was done, and the line was expected to be clear about JO p.m.
