(Received Oct. 20, at 10 p.m.) The gallops at Flemington were on tn« did 10 furlongs in 2min 13sec, and Bioolor 10 in evens, the last two m 27isec. Amounis beat Vaals over sis turlongs in Imin Statesman and Banchus ran five furlongs in Imin 4Jsoc, and Pigeon Pie six furlongs in Imin 21sec. Merry Mint defeated Walla Walla over six furlongs in Imin 19isec. Quan Tart did seven furlongs in Imin 4Xsec, and Bard of Avon 10 furlongs in 2min 19sec. Pantheon easily beat Winaiot and Rawhetu over 10 furlongs in 2mm and Maid of Nooh did four furlongs m Slsec. Ramulus beat Nirculene over four furlongs in 49Jsec. On the tan Pilliewinkie ran 10 furlongs in 2min 29sec, and Star D’Or a mile in Imin 47sec. At Caulfield, on the grass, Imitator defeated Tookarby over 10 furlongs in 2min 9|sec. Eridanus and Killara covered 10 furlongs without being extended in 2min 15sec. Murillo and Devonshire did 10 furlongs, occupying 2min 54sec. Silvius did 10 furlongs "in 2min IBsec, and Treasury Bond three in SSgsec. Affirm did a mil» in ovens. MOTOR CYCLING. WORLD’S RECORD BROKEN. Temple, a British motor cyclist, broke a world’s record, covering 50 kilometres on Montlhery track •in equal to 173| kilometres hourly.—A. and N.Z. Gable. BILLIARDS. The final of the Otago interclub championship was played on the. Commercial' Travellers’ table on Wednesday night between Lindsay, representing the Returned Soldiers’ Club, and Bolt, representing the Otago Bowling Club. The’Tomer proved the winner by a good margin. The scores were; —Lindsay 500, including breaks of 33, 26, two of 28, and two of 21; Bolt 366, including breaks of 54, 32, two of 23, and two of 21. At the close of the game Mr C. R. Smith, on behalf of the Otago Bowling Club, the present holders, presented the shield to the winners, and Mr R. Holt suitably replied on behalf of the Returned Soldiers’ Club. GOLF. A medal match will be played on the Balmacewan links to-day. The draw is as follows:—Mrs Sims v. Miss E. Johnstone, Miss Kyle v.
