AMERICAN LEGIONARIES

TOUR OF FRANCE ENDED. ARRIVAL IN LONDON. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Oopyrignt.) LONDON, October 5. (Received Oct. 6, at 7 p.m.) Members of the American legion who have been visiting Paris and the battlefields of France and Belgium, are coming to London to-morrow, where arrangements have been made for an official reception. To-morrow they will be guests at a luncheon attended by the Prince of Wales and Lord Haig. On Friday night the Prime Minister will preside over a banquet in their honour in the royal gallery of the House of Lords. Next Monday the legionaries will be presented to the King and Queen at Buckingham Palace, and they will attend a luncheon given by the Lord Mayor at the Guildhall, when Sir Austen Chamberlain will be present. — A. and N.Z.
