JEKYLL AND HYDE CASE.
A - “ BLACKGUARD ” SENTENCED. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, August 30. “ Ho has behaved as a blackguard in more ways than one, ’ said Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M.. in sentencing William Robert Cui4on. aged 25, to a month’s imprisonment for failing to comply with the terms of his release on probation. Me was convicted and discharged on charges of drunkenness and procuring liquor during tho currency of a prohibition order. It was stated yesterday that Cnrson, who was divorced, had induced a girl to leave her homo for him, and he was referred to by tho Rev. Jasper (’aider as being a Jekyll and Hyde mixture.
