HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE.
The Celebrity Vaudeville Company, which is appearing under the direction of Messrs J. C. Williamson and Co., presented its third programme at His Majesty’s Theatre last evening 'before a large and appreciative audience. A good variety of turns was submitted. Dick Henderson and Phil Rich provided a wide range of wit and humour. A novel turn was the canary opera. Colin Crane and Marie Lawton are the vocalists of the company, and the latter, in addition to having a splendid voice, is very skilful on the harp. Alyce Adair is seen to advantage in some good turns with Phil Rich, in which her dancing is delightful. The Lenga Brothers appear in. eccentric and grotesque dancing. One of the features of the programme is the turn provided by Valencia. He is a flying trapeze artist, and causes many thrills when he goes through his amazing act. Bright turns are also given by Les Zenga Freres, the Lee Sisters, and Stella Lamonde. An efficient orchestra adds to the enjoyment of the programme. The company will make its final appearance to-night.
