TYPHOON IN JAPAN

TOKIO, August 29 (Received August 30, at 1 a.m.) The most disastrous typhoon since 1923 visited Nagasaki and Kochi, on Shikokui Island. At Nagasaki 4000 houses are submerged and many bridges have been washed away. Fifty deaths have so far been reported, while the damage amounts to 2,000,000 yen.
