MAGISTRATE SOLVES DIFFICULTY CHARITY IN LIEU OF FINE.

Hunt, S.M., adopted a 'ovel method of meeting a difficult ease in the Police Court, when ’ihomas George Maxted came up for sentence'on a charge of stealing a trotting sulky, which ho had removed from the trotting course- where it had been left by the owner for sonic time.
