OTAGO EXECUTIVE MEETS.

Detail Rugby League matters were discussed at a meeting of the Otago Executive last evening, the president (Mr A. J. Rico) being in the chair. . . A representative of the Otago Ladies Hockey Association stated that it had been granted the use of the Caledonian Ground for a seven-a-sido tournament on Juno 3. The association for the use of the tea-rooms on the same day.—The application was granted. The main business of the meeting, said the chairman, was the appointment of a secretary. Thcro was sorno littlo difrioulty about it. and it might bo wise to take the question in committee. Mr R. Lcrrigo moved that the meeting go into committee. The was not seconded, but was declared carried after being put to the meeting. No finality « T as reached, and after a prolonged discussion tho question was held over. . Tho Secretary reported that a Ivaitaneata team would be available to play on Saturday.
