COMPARATIVE FIGURES. BIG DECREASE IN IMPORTS. (Peb United Pbess Association.) WELLINGTON, May 17. The overseas trade figures compiled by the Customs Department show that the exports for the four months ended April, 1927, amounted to £21,753,780, compared with £21,418,035 for the same period last year. The exports for the month of April were £5,082,753, a decrease of £71.012.
The imports for the same four months of 1927 were £14,814,760, compared with £17,542,808 for the same period last year. The imports for the month of April were £2,818,887, a decrease of £1,031,209.
