MAY DAY
THE MOSCOW DEMONSTRATIONS. ANTI-RELIGIOUS PERFORMANCES. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, May The Riga correspondent of The Times slates that the May Day festivities in Moscow included anti-religious performances. Wireless loud speakers were installed in the streets, and these enabled the crowds to listen to the harangues of the orators, who were busy all day long. May 2 was also proclaimed a holiday to enable the masses to rest after the strenuous demonstrations of May Day.—Tho Times.
