COUNTRY MAIL SERVICES.

TO THE EDITOR. gut,—l wish to endorse fully tho serious complaint made in a letter in your issue of April 30 respecting the inadequate delivery of mails during Easter-time and also from April 22 to 27. To those isolated in tho country a thrice weekly mail service is a sufficient handicap without their being further seriously inconvenienced. When a holiday occurs, and thus tho delivery of a mail is delayed, I would suggest that tho Postal Department arrange that tho mail bo delivered tho morning following tho holiday. I would strongly ask the Postal Department to make a thorough inquiry into this matter, which is the cause, of so much serious inconvenience.—l am, etc., Long Sufferer. Lauder.
