PRINCESS THEATRE
The Midnight Frolics are still in their clement at the Princess Theatre, where they are presenting their seventh programme before large audiences. Clem Dawe is as bright and clever as ever, and he keeps his audience highly amused at every appearance. Alec. Kogan’s light comedy work is excellent. In the first sketch Les White and Clem Dawe .are featured as schoolboys, and their antics provoke much laughter- In another sketch Dawe, Nell M’Guire, and Lne Edgley work together, and provide more fun. In another the persons involved arc Dorothy AVhite, Les White, and Dawe, and those taking part in still another good presentation are Edgley. Dawe, Les White, and Louis Cottani. This sketch is specially well acted, and the dialogue is very arousing. “Minstrel Harmonics” is a frolic that gives ample scope for those taking part* Dawe, as Massa Johnson, is very much at home, and Dorothy _Whitc does ’some clever dancing. The' Frolics’ jazz band, in which the Dick Dorothy Trio dance to the music of the talented musicians, gives an entertainment which is highly appreciated. Other acceptable items are given by Ronald Stafford, Phyllis Amery, Nell M’Guire, and Oscai Beck. The programme will be repeated this evening.
