MAY DAY RESOLUTION.
SINGAPORE AND CHINA. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 2. The Wellington Labour Party signalised May Day by passing a resolution expressing its sense of unity and fraternity with the workers throughout the world who arc striving to abolish poverty, militarism, and war, and the evils arising from the competitive system of society; and also denouncing the militarist measures against China, and the decision of the New Zealand Government to vote £1,000,000 to the Singapore base.
