RETURNED SOLDIERS’ CHOIR.
Judging by the rapidly filling box plat. His Majesty's Theatre will be well filled to-morrow night for the returned soldiers’ initial concert. Public interest in the choir work is steadily growing, and an increased personnel in each section of the choir, greatly adding to the efficiency, will be noticed. '1 hrough the generosity of patrons and members several new numbers wilj be in the arranged programme to lend variety. Secular, sacred, and humorous part songs will compile what should, no doubt, prove an interesting ottering. Iho returned soldiers will have the valued help of Miss Mabelle Esquilant. and in Schumann’s “How Like a Lonely Flower Thou Bloomest” and Berger's •'Expectation,’’ her fine vocal equipment and extreme artistry will be displayed to the fullest advantage. The humour of Miss Anita W inkcl will add a varied atmosphere in the extremely diverting number “It May Bo Life," and Mi'sEva Judd, accompanied bv Miss Muriel Caddie, will play “Lcgende and Romance.” Mr P. S. Anderson will be the choir soloist, and the accompanist for the choir and soloists will be Mr L. A. James.
