THE HARTFORD RECEPTION. (Fred Association—Ty Telegraph—Copyright.) NEW YORK, April 80. (Received May 1, at 11.30 p.m.) The reception of the Australian Industrial Mission at Hartford was most whole-hearted. The newspapers gave it generous space, and the members were invited to broadcast about Australia. The Hartford Courant, in a leading article, says: “The Australians have courage and a determination to succeed. These are the birthright of a new country, where the difficulties and discouragements are great, but where possibilities are practically unlimited.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
