After an exhaustive examination of the patients and an investigation In Switzerland and Britain the Doily Express repeats its former opinion that it does not believe his claim to the discovery of a cure of consumption. The Daily Express, in order to obtain definite proof proposes, that Mr Spahlingcr should place his data at the disposal of eminent doctors and permit them to make a full and unhampered investigation. If the committee reports that M. Spahliuger’s claim la Justified even to the extent of showing hope of effecting cures, the Daily Express will contribute £IO,OOO towards the prosecution of that hope, and do Its utmost to attract subscriptions to a work “which should command the support of the peoples of all nations.” Sir Thomas Horder, Dr R. A. Young, and Professor Stevenson Lyle-Cummins are willing to conduct the inquiry.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
