MOSGIEL MUNICIPAL BAND.

The annual meeting of iho Moagiol Municipal Band was held in tho band room on April 21. In the absence of tho president, Mr John Wright occupied tiro chair. Tho annual report and balance sheet wore read and adopted. The office-bearers were elected as follows: —President, Mr John I’. Walls; vice-presidents, Messrs John Wright and A. F. Quolch; auditor, Mr C. ('. M‘Laclilan. The committee was reflected with tho addition of Mr S. J. Wilson in place of Mr K. Watson; secretary, Mr E. Pullen; librarian Mr A. White; custodian, Mr L. Graham. Tho Chairman, in a brief speech acknowledged the services of tho band to tho district during (he paM year, and thankee! it on behalf of tho Borough Council for the ctiti rialiiiuents provided from time to tit-e.
