PACIFIC AREA CONFERENCE. TO EE HELD IN AUGUST. (Special to Daily Times.) CHRISTCHURCH, April 8. Mr T. Z. Koo, writing from Shanghai on February 21, informs the headquarters of the New Zealand Student Christian movement in Christchurch, that a Pacific Area Student Conference will be held at Peking from August 11 to 25. In the first week of February the executive comreitte of the Pacific Area Student Christian Conference met in Tokio for three days, and it was decided at this meeting - to proceed with the conference ns originally planned, in spite of the political disturbances in Chinn. The New Zealand Student Christian Movement plans to sepd a* full delegation of four, two graduates and two undergraduates. Canada, the T'nitcd States. Latin America, Australia. New Zealand, China, and Japan, and several countries in the Pacific basin will all be directly represented at the conference.
