“A Song of Trafalgar.’’ This beautiful composition has been recently given to ('■e society by the society’s president (Mr I>. E. Thcomin). Other part-songs will bo “Pleading’’ (recently presented to the society by Mrs J. P. Lane), “Salutation,” “Cottage Wee,” “Loch Lomond.” “Alexander,” and, to mark the centenary of Beethoven, two of his compositions will be included in “Hallelujah! Power and Glory,” from the “Mount of Olives,” and “Creation’s Hymn.” The part-songs are pleasing, and the tuneful harmonics should meet with the approval desired. Vocal and instrumental solos and vocal quartets will he intermixed with the choirs' items. The box plan will be open to-day.
