DUNEDIN SEAMEN’S UNION.

ACTION AGAINST DISTURBERS. At a stop-work meeting of the Dunedin Federated Seamen’s Union the following resolution was carried unanimously: — “That this meeting of members of the Seamen’s Union, held in Dunedin, expresses its thanks to the commission which ■was appointed by <ho membership to inquire into the cause of the trouble in the organisation for the manner in which it has brought its findings before the rank and fil“ of the union, and that this meeting has the fullest confidence in the action that has been taken, and pledges itself to support the organisation and its officers and members in any action it may take to deai with those persons who have been the cause of the disturbance, as mentioned in the report of the commission. ’’
