STORM IN N.S. WALES

BUILDINGS DESTROYED BY LIGHTNING. HEAVY RAINS. (Proea Association —E>y Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, January 21. A terrific storm, accompanied by thunder and lightning, occurred at I’arkes. Many buildings were struck by lightning and ruined. Other buildings were unroofed by the force of the gale, and trees were uprooted. Nearly two inches of rain fell in half an hour, and some places were flooded.
