The preliminary trial of John Sullivan on a charge of murdering Jeremiah Williamson near Torere on December 1 concluded this afternoon, afte'r lengthy evidence by numerous witnesses for the Crown. No evidence was called for the defence. The accused was committed for trial at the Supreme Court at Gisborne.
