WAR ON MAGPIES
FARMER LOSES HIS FALSE TEETH. (Press Association— By Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, December 25. Finding a new set of false teeth uncomfortable, a farmer, working in the bush in the Grafton district, placed them on a stump. A magpie stole the teeth and alighted on a high tree. The farmer fired a gun, but missed. He saw no more of the magpie or the teeth. He is now conducting merciless war on the whole magpie family.
