Motorists and others using this road are hereby notified that, with a view to safeguarding the traffic on the road, it is notified that •'•UP” Traffic to the POWER HOUSE MUST NOT ENTER at the IRON GATES leading off the Berwick road between the hours of 2.30 p.m. and 6 pan. on any day, thus leaving the road free for “DOWN ” Traffic from the Falls between these hours. It is not possible to apply this regulation to Corporation vehicles operating at the Foils, and the drivers of “DOWN” Traffic must not therefore assume that the road is absolutely open to them and in consequence relax precautionary ; measures. i • The Bush in the River Gorge is vested in the Dunedin City Council as a Scenic Reserve, and the public are warned against lighting fires or using firearms in the area.
