The distribution of prizes at the Wai tahuna Presbyterian Sunday School took place in the Sunday School Hall on Sunday afternoon. Mr R. M'Caw thanked the donors of prizes for their generous support towards the prize fund, and also for the loyaltv of the teachers during the year. The Rev. E. E. Andrews also addressed the children on the subject of gifts and giving. There was a good attendance of parents and friends. I l '- following received special prizes:—Assembly examination: Ivy Blaikie, Jean MCorkindale. Alexa Ponder, Mattie Ponder, Ruth Ponder, Edna Goss, and Keith M'Caw. Attendance prizes: First class —Ivy Blaikic, Lena Blaikie, Raney M‘Stay. Second class: Edna Goss, Milward Crane, Ivan Bateman, and Vona Crane. Books were presented to the teachers, and Mr and Mrs Andrews were also the recipients of gifts.
