THE AIR SERVICE
VOCATION FOR WOMEN. SAFER THAN STP iET LOCOMOTION. (Pros* Association —By Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, December 11. (Received Dec. 12, at 5.5 p.m.) Mrs Elliott Lynn, in urging women to lake up tlying, said that in the last three months there had been 270,000 injuries in street accidents in England, while not a single person had been injured in an aeroplane carrying out odinary duties in a year. She wondered why people had the courage to drive a motor car when scores or dangers were lurking at every corner. It was easier to fly than to ride a push bicycle.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
