JAPANESE EMPEROR
ATTACKED BY PNEUMONIA. (Presa Association —By Telegraph—Copyright.) TOKIO, December 10. The Emperor Las developed pneumonia. The Ministers of the Household, the Chamberlains, the Prime Minister, and the Emperor's mother have arrived at the palace. The Prince Regent is expected to-morrow. The doctors are all assembled. PRINCE CALLED HOME. LONDON. December 12. (Received Dec. 13, at 1 a.m.) Prince Chichibu, who is an undergraduate at Oxford University, has been tecalled to Japan owing to the serious illness of the Emperor.—A. and N.Z. Cable. > The Emperor loshihito was born in 1879. He has been ill for years, and his heir-apparent was appointed regent in 1921.
