LABOUR PARTY’S DISPUTE. TERMS OF SETTLEMENT. (Freu Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, December 11. The terms of the settlement of the dispute between the Government and Messrs Goodin and Gillies are the complete repudiation of the dictatorship, the rejection of the Red rules, the reorganising of the Labour Party, and the dropping from the Labour Party of Messrs Willis, Voight, and Garden, the country to be given priority in any legislation to be passed, and the country to be given extra representation under the new redistribution of seats scheme. The outcome of the agreement is that the Government will be able to continue in office, and probably the present Parliament will now run its full term. Parliament will most likely be called together as soon as possible, probably early in January. Mr Loughlin, interviewed, said his attitude had not changed since the commencement of the trouble. The official report of the Labour caucus meeting states that Mr Goodin is now back in the party. Mr Gillies has also accepted the agreement, but his return to the party has been postponed until the terms of the agreement are honoured. Mr Gillies will support the Government in the meantime.
