NEW YORK, December B.—Arrived : Canadian Commander, from Auckland. ■ The C. and D. Line steamer Port Sydney left Port Chalmers last evening for Bluff, where the remainder of her New York cargo will be discharged. The A. and A. Line’s chartered steamer Tregenna sailed last evening for Westport. After replenishing her bunkers there, she will proceed to Port Pirie. The Calm, which arrived here early yesterday morning from Wanganui, via ports, sailed last evening for Tlmaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The Opihi is due here to-day from Westport direct. After discharging a cargo of coal, she will load general merchandise for Nelson and New Plymouth. The Opihi is timed to sail on Tuesday afternoon, and will call at Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington to lift additional cargo. The John is due at Dunedin to-morrow from Bluff, and will load general cargo on Monday for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Wanganui, and NeV/ Plymouth. The Ivatoa has been fixed to load at Dunidin on Thursday next for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. ■- The American steamer West Henehaw is to sail 'on Tuesday morning for Honululu and San Francisco. - The Breeze has been fixed to load at Dunedin on Wednesday next for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer Maheno cleared Bluff at 3 a.m. on Tuesday last for Melbourne, where she is due to-day. She leaves Melbourne on the return trip on December 15, and is due at Dunedin on December 21. Included in the cargo discharged from the Maunganui at Wellington this week were transhipments ex the following vessels; Arafura, Himilaya Maru, Osaka Maru, Carasoppia, Baradlne, Marella, Cathay, Alacumba, Bombala, Burwah, Suevic, Port Hardy, Soekavonei, Mawatta, Mildura, Hanau, Aachin, Karoola, Koorda, Oronaay, Otranto,*Aki Marat, Morton Bay, and Ville de Verdun. ARAWA DUE ON TUESDAY. Messrs Dalgety and Co. advise that the Shaw, Savill, and Albion steamer Arawa is now due at Dunedin on Tuesday morning from Lyttelton. The vessel has a largo quantity of general cargo from Liverpool for discharge at this port. WHANGAPB FROM SYDNEY. ■ The Whangape was expected to leave Sydney yesterday with general cargo for discharge at Lyttelton, Dunedin. Oamaru, and Bluff. She should arrive here towards the eud of next week. TAINUI’S SAILING DATE. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company adviees that the Tainui is now timed to leave Auckland at 3 p.m. on Wednesday next for Southampton and London, via Panama. MATAKANA FOR NEWCASTLE. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Line steamer Matakana, which has been laid up at Port Chalmers for several weeks, will sail this morning direct for Newcastle, where she will ship bunker cofcl. The vessel’s subsequent movements have not yet been announced. THE CANADIAN SPINNER. The Canadian Spinner is due at Auckland on Monday from Montreal, via Panama. She is bringing Canadian cargo for discharge at Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, and Dunedin. The vessel is duo here on December 31, and will sail about January 5 for Wellington, Napier, and Auckland to complete loading for New York, Boston, and Halifax. PORT BOWEN REPORTED. A cablegram from Colon reports the arrival at that port on December 3 of the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Bowen, on her way from Liverpool to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland about December 25. MATAROA FROM ENGLAND. A -wireless message received by the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company from the captain of the Mataroa states that the vessel will arrive at Wellington to-morrow afternoon from London and Southampton. After landing passengers the Mataroa will proceed to Auckland to discharge part cargo. STEAMERS FROM CALCUTTA. Cabled advice has been received by the Union Company that the Sussex left Calcutta on the morning of December 5. The vessel will complete loading at Penang, Singapore, and Bamarang, ior Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton. Timaru. Dunedin, and Bluff. , , , The Union Company advises that the Waihora left Calcutta on December 7 for Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff.
