MUSIC FIRM’S TROUBLES.

SETTLEMENT ARRIVED f AT. Tho case in which Alexander Alilno Begg petitioned for the winding-up of Chns. Begg and Co. (Ltd.), under the provisions of the Companies Act was called again in the Supreme Court yesterday, and quickly disposed of. Air W. G. Hay, who appeared for tho petitioner, intimated that tho parties had come to an amicable settlement, which had been put in writing. He asked leave to withdraw the petition, and thanked his Honor for the consideration he had given to the matter. His Honor: There is no objection, I suppose. Counsel for the other parties offered no objection, and his Honor gave leave for tho petition to be withdrawn.
