Mr Norman Beveridge, a well-known grazier at Narromine, was assisting to fight the flames with two other men when a sudden change of wind trapped them. All were sent to hospital, and Mr Beveridge later succumbed to his injuries. CYCLONIC STORMS. SYDNEY, December 6. (Received Dec, G, at 9 p.m.) There were many narrow escapes during a cyclone at Albury, which caused extensive damage to buildings. The crops in the surrounding districts suffered severely. A message from Brisbane says that a violent storm at Abcrcorn causal much damage. Many residents wore injured by flying debris.
