Ten grandchildren of Robert Paton, who allege that Paton was granted 160 ■acres of land in 1835 in what is now the heart of Sydney, have commissioned lawyers to establish their right to the property, which is now estimated to be worth 30,000,000 dollars. Paton’s heirs claim that be was given a Royal grant in recognition of bis invention of a method of ridding Sydney Harbour of dangerous rocks.
