BOXING.
TO-NIGHT’S CONTEST. Arrangements are complete for the professional boxing contest to be fought at His Majesty’s Theatre to-night between Silvino Jamito and Artie Hay (New Zealand’s welterweight chamoion). The contestants put in their final preparation on Saturday and both boxers look fit and well. Jamito impressed those present, and his chances are. considered to be bright. On the other hand, Hay has the advantage in weight. The box plans for reserved seats will be open until 5 p.m. at the Bristol, and day sales for the pit and stalls will bo made at Jacobs, Princes street. The chief event will be supplemented by two sixround amateur preliminaries. WORLD’S MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) NEW YORK. December 4. Jack Jones defeated Ansell Bell, knocking him out in the seventh round. Bell was badly punished.
