NEW SPANISH PLOT
AIMED AT KING AND DICTATOR. SYNDICALISTS ARRESTED. (Presa Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) PARIS, December 2. The Continental edition of the Chicago Tribune reports from Madrid the arrest of four syndicalists armed with revolvers and grenades, who, it is believed, were preparing to assassinate King Alfonso, and General de Rivera. The arrested men confessed to two assassinations in 1924.—A. and N.Z. Cable. AN INTERNATIONAL SCHEME. DESIGNS OF SIGNOR MUSSOLINI. MADRID, December 2. (Received Dec. 3, at 5.5 p.m.) Arising out of the arrest of the anarchists who were suspected of a plot to kill General Primo de Rivera, the police allege that the plot was part of a huge international scheme under which Signor Mussolini was marked out for assassination. —A. and N.Z.
