Naidu scored a brilliant 153. —Sydney Sun Cable. VICTORIA v. SOUTH AUSTRALIA. GOOD SCORE BY PONSFORD. ADELAIDE. December 3. (Received Doc. 3, at 11.50 p.m.) A Sheffield Shield match between Victoria and South Australia has commenced. Victoria has six down for 265 (Ponsford 178, Hendry 30. Mitchell 32). After the interval the batsmen treated the bowling with great respect, and the rate of scoring was much slower. The fielding throughout was ve-y faulty.
