ALWAYS A BULL-FIGHT. In keeping with the humanitarian tendencies of the present time a number of inhabitants of the town of Barcelona, in Spain, decided to found a Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. All prospective members put in appearance at the first meeting for the purpose of discussing the satutes of the new society, when the question naturally cropped up as to how to secure the necessary funds for carrying on the work of the society. After protracted deliberation a motion was put by the chairman and carried unanimously to the effect that to place the finances of the society on a sound footing a bull-fight was. to be arranged forthwith.
