“CHRISTMAS CHEER.” TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I arain ask your kind approval for a small corner just to remind the friends of the Patients and Prisoners’ Aid Society and the James Powell Convalescent Home tha' Christmas will soon be here. It is well known that I have a fairly large family to do something for at this festive season. There are the little folks hose fathers are in -risen nr the mental hospital. Combined with the struggling mothers, they make my responsibility very great indeed. I want to do something for these folk during this Christmas, but this can only be successfully done by a liberal response from the people. 1 am sure this will I so a* to enable me t give the 'jstitute “kiddies” and deserving mothers something which will enable them say in truth, “It was a merry Christmas.” —I am, etc., F. 6.
