(Received Nov. 26, at 8 p.m.) The Queen, who devotes a sum annually to scholarships, has adopted a little boy waif from one of the homes of the Church of England Waifs and Strays’ Society, and is sending him to a school where be will be educated and brought up at her expense.—A. and N.Z.
