Staples, who represented New Zealand at the recent convention of the Association of the Advertising Clubs of the World at Philadelphia, has arrived, at Sydney en route to Christchurch. He said the Americans took advertising very seriously, and were applying it to all sorts of conditions as well as for commercial purposes. It was decided during the conyention to seek the assistance of prominent advertising men to evolve some sort of scheme to stem the tide of unpopularity abroad against Americans.
