CYCLING 100 MILE ROAD DACE.

(Pee United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, November 18. The 100-mile cycling road race from Hamilton to Auckland resulted as follows: C. Hellier (New Plymouth) handicap 30min, actual time shr 42min 30 4-ssec, 1; C. H. Jennings (Palmerston North), 30mm—--shr 48min 35 l-ssec, 2; A. C. Taylor (Auckland), 30min —shr 48min 52sec. 3: A. Sutherland (Auckland), 12min—5hr 40mm, 4. and fastest time; J. Henderson (Auckland), 15min, 5; R. Healey, 70min, 5. There were 26 starters. The scratch men—S. M‘Cann (New Plymouth) and R. LnskJ) forfeited their engagements, and other scratcbings left Sutherland the scratch man. The weather was fine and the roads wore in good order, with few bad patches. Hellier, Jennings, and Taylor were all on the same mark, and kept together practically throughout. Over-hauling the limit men in the last 50 miles Hellier drew away to win by about 6min from Jennings, with Taylor a close third. There were several punctures. ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL. HOME RESULTS.
