MOTOR SHIP AORANGI

A SMART TRIP. (Special to Dailv Times.) AUCKLAND, November 13. An exceptionally smart trip between Auckland and Sydney of three days and three hours was made by the Union Company’s motor ship Aoarngi, wheih reached Sydney yesterday afternoon. This time is one of the Aorangi’s best performances since she entered the Vancouver mail service early last year. Having landed passengers, mail, and cargo, and embarked a number of passengers for Sydney, the Aorangi left Auckland in continuation of her voyage from Vancouver at 20 minutes past 1 on Tuesday afternoon last. A cablegram received at Auckland states that the motor ship entered Sydney Heads at half-past 4 yesterday afternoon. She thus covered the distance from port to port in three days, three hours, 10 minutes.
