GUERILLA WARFARE WITH AEROPLANES. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK, November 12. Advices from Herrin, Illinois, state that members of the rival bootlegging gangs are now using airplane , to carry on a vicious guerilla warfare. A lowflying airplane circled the house of a gang leader and dropped three bombs. The first exploded a hundred yards from the house, doing no damage, and the other two were duds.’ The inmates ran from the building and opened fire on the_ ’plane with machine guns and rifles, while the ’plane circled the house three times, and then sped away.
