ANCIENT HUMAN REMAINS. Cl rent interest has been excited in archroo-,,_-jcal circles in Dublin by a reported find ..f' human remains and ancient bronze instruments and ornaments on the island o£ Lambay This find was made some time ago, uul. only now has the news of it leaked out. ... i.ambfly Island, "which iiss a couple 01 miles off" the County Dublin mainland, and is owned by the Hon. Cecil Baring, heir to the second Baron is a jealously-guarded spot. No one is allowed to land without a permit, and workmen employed there rarely come to the mainland. It is understood that the archaeological find is being examined by competent authorities and it discovered to be of importance will’ probably be later exhibited in the Dublin National Museum. The human remains are said to be those of persons of abnormal stature.
