anniversary celebrations. The sixty-third anniversary of the Trinity' Methodist Church Sunday School was celebrated last evening first by all with a tea meeting which was attended by over 85. and later by a social reunion, at which musical items and Scriptural recitations were given by the scholars in the junior and intermediate departmA its of the school. The scholars sang and recited very well, and wore loudly applauded for their efforts to entertain. The chair was occupied by the Rev. H. E. Bellhouse. and there was a fairly large attendance of adults. It is worthy of special mention that 17 of the scholars obtained 100 per cent, of marks for the year, and had their names placed on the honour roll. The annual report showed that the school had accomplished good work during the year, and the various divisions were in a healthy condition. The balance sheet showed a credit of £3O, and it was mentioned •in the statement that the children had succeeded in raising £145 by various means for the equipment fund for the new school. The Rev. If. E, Bellhouse said that the report and bala.nce sheet wore both encouraging and gratifying, and referred in verv complimentary terms to the good work done bv Mr A. 11. Reed. Sunday school suporinnvidont. and Mr G. W. H. Adams, secretary. During the evening the prizes were presented by the chairman, the proceedings being brought to a conclusion by the Benediction being pronounced.
