RECIPROCAL TARIFFS. SOUTH AFRICA'S QUEST. (Pr«s« Association— By Telegraph—Copyright.: CAPETOWN, September 26. It is authoritatively stated that the Union delegation to the Imperial Conference will take the opportunity to negotiate a basis of reciprocal tariff treaties with Britain, Canada, Australia, and possibly Ireland. The Prime Minister will probably visit Lisbon, where conversations arc likely to proceed for a renewal of the Mozambique Convention with Portugal. Mainly for these reasons a number of technical advisers will accompany the delegation.—A. and N.Z, Cable.
