(Received Sept. 25, at 5.5 p.m.) Advices from Winnipeg state that wintry weather which is prevailing in the prairie provinces is causing the most serious delay in harvesting experienced for many years, and it is feared that it will result in great loss to farmers through deterioration in value. Manitoba farmers are already suffering an estimated loss of 12,000,000 dollars through the inclement weather. Snowstorms of blizzard proportions are prevailing in many sections to-day.—A. and N.Z.
