(Received Sept. 25, at 5.5 p.m.) Under instructions from the New Zealand High Commissioner, Mr Sandford, emigration officer, and Mr Drewe, yuhlicity officer, made a lecture tour of Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Ayr, and Inverness. Last night Mr Drewe addressed 2500 persons at the City Hall, Glasgow. As a result of the lectures there have been numerous inquiries from intending migrants and tourists. The Ruahine is taking 400 third class passengers to New Zealand, including 250 assisted migrants and 15 public schoolboys.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
