MINING.
UPPER NEVIS DREDGING COMPANY. A new mining venture, the Upper Nevis Gold Dredging Company, has been floated, the capital having been oversubscribed by about 10,000 shares. The capita! of the company is £30,000, divided into 30,000 shares of £1 eacn. It has been formed to purchase the Earnscleugh dredge at Alexandra and work it on a claim of over 600 acres at the Upper Nevis.
